John Egan has been quoted in an article published by the Canberra Times about the expected remuneration of Australia National University’s (ANU) next vice-chancellor, Nobel Prize winner Professor Brian Schmidt. John Egan’s expertise was sought regarding the prospect that Professor Schmidt, who is currently an astronomer at the ANU, would enjoy a $1 million-plus salary when he takes over from Professor Ian young as vice-chancellor in January.
