Board Evaluation Disclosure

Boardroom Partners and Chartered Secretaries Australia have released a joint report into board performance reviews disclosure. Board reviews are becoming more and more common, the report notes, but the disclosure of review details is less so, despite an ASX Corporate Governance Committee recommendation (PDF) that companies disclose the process for board evaluation. The report delves into how much board review information companies are disclosing, discussing how companies can walk the fine line between meeting disclosure requirements and remaining in their confidentiality comfort zone.
